SO YOU’VE WRITTEN A BOOK…NOW, WHAT?

A lively discussion on the next steps.

Stacey Donaghy and Sue MillerLiterary agents with Donaghy Literary Groupwill join us on January 13, 2018 to discuss query letters from an agent’s perspective- Do’s and Don’ts, what to include (and not include).  They will also provide tips for hooking an agent and discuss the purpose of a query versus a synopsis. As well as, discussing research and preparation prior to querying agents. There will also be some discussion on traditional and self-publishing (hybrid)  from the perspective of working with an agent.

As an added bonus, Stacey and Sue will live critique 6 query letters for the first 6 registrants. Before submitting your query letter, be sure that you are comfortable with having your query read aloud in front of the group.   There will be time for questions and discussion.
